About Havilah Praise Chapel

The Havilah Praise Chapel was born out of a great passion, vision and divine direction given by God through his servant, Rev. Andy K. Simpson in AD 2018. This vision was born out of the believe that God was mandating him to put together a family of believers that will seek to impact this and the next generations with the power of the Holy Spirit by developing people to DO ministry and to build people to BE like Jesus.” (Acts 1:8, Ehe 4:11-13, 1 Peter 2:9). Rev. Andy Simpson therefore founded and registered Havilah Mission together with other co-founders- Mr.Kofi Twum-Ampofo Aggrey., Mr. Nicholas Abakah among few others.

The Mission’s operations began in AD 2020 with ministries such as Ancient Word Broadcast, Ancient Word Devotions and Relentless Prayer Family. The Mission by the leading of God set out to plant City focused Churches across the world known as Havilah Praise Chapel.

The first of its kind was launched on April 4 2021 (resurrection Sunday Eve) at Ashalley-Botwe in Accra Ghana with Rev. Andy Simpson as the lead pastor.

This first church is the first of 100’s if not 1000’s of similar Havilah Praise Chapel world-wide.

What Our Name Means:

  • Havilah- Where there is Gold and precious ornaments, a place with an exceptionally pure gold, land of prosperity. Genesis 2:10-12 “A river flowed from the land of Eden, watering the garden and then dividing into four branches. The first branch, called the Pishon, flowed around the entire land of Havilah, where gold is found. The gold of that land is exceptionally pure; aromatic resin and onyx stone are also found there.”
  • Praise- We exist to forever express adoration, admiration, respect, gratitude to God as our act of worship.
  • Chapel- In this regard also means Church. Literally means the called out ones. Havilah Praise Chapel is not a building or an organization: we are the people that God has called out of the world into His kingdom and service.
