DISCIPLESHIP & FAMILY LIFE

Connect Families:

As the church grows bigger, we also need to grow smaller to meet the need of every member of the church. Connect families are smaller units of the church congregation with each family having a maximum of 15 members. Connect family provide fellowship, pastoral care and interaction on a personal level. The goal of every connect Family is to watch out for one another and help each member to move through the process of discipleship at Havilah Praise Chapel. Connect Families meet one’s every week. These meetings may be formal or informal, at a designated meeting spot outside of the main church premises or in the context of the worship services. Every member of Havilah needs to be part of a connect family.

New Believers Class

The department is responsible to process new believers through our four Sunday class to help build a solid Christian foundation and also to Baptize new believers by immersion as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Welfare

The department ensures that the needs and wellbeing of members are catered for. Support in the form of advice and encouragement, financial support are giving to grieving members in terms of death, joyous moments in times of birth and marriages as well as difficult moments of sickness among others. The department manages the welfare fund of the church.
